Enroute Tech Pty Ltd (ACN 670 736 562) operates the Enroute Rental mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

By registering or using the App, you agree to this policy. Use is restricted to Australian residents aged 18+.

• Identity: First name, last name
• Contact: Email address, phone number, residential address
• Driver's licence: Front and back photos
• Employment: ABN, company association
• Location: GPS collected only when submitting a weekly report — not tracked continuously
• Usage data: Reports, contracts, invoices, and App activity
• Device info: Device type and OS (for technical support only)

• Create and manage your driver account
• Process truck rental contracts and Bills
• Verify your identity and driving licence
• Record weekly and vehicle condition reports
• Send account notifications (e.g. password reset emails)
• Comply with Australian legal and regulatory obligations

• Data stored on secure cloud servers (Google Cloud Platform & MongoDB Atlas)
• Driver's licence photos and Pdf documents stored in a private, access-controlled bucket — not publicly accessible
• All transmission encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2 / 1.3)
• Access restricted to authorised personnel only
• Passwords hashed with Argon2ID — never stored in plain text

We do not sell your personal information. Data is only shared in these circumstances:

• Fleet administrators: Can view your profile, contracts, and reports for fleet management
• Service providers (each bound to equivalent privacy standards):
  • Google Cloud Platform — Privacy Policy
  • MongoDB Atlas — Privacy Policy
  • Nominatim / OpenStreetMap (geocoding) — no personal data transmitted
• Legal requirements: If required by Australian law or court order

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Withdraw consent to data collection (see Section 6)
• Lodge a complaint with the OAIC

Withdrawing consent: Revoke location access anytime via iOS: Settings → Enroute Rental → Location or Android: Settings → Apps → Enroute Rental → Permissions.

GPS location is accessed only when you submit a weekly report — used solely to record the truck's position. Location is not tracked continuously, stored beyond the report, or shared with third parties.

Biometric sign-in is optional and processed entirely on your device by iOS or Android. We do not collect, store, or access your biometric data at any time.

Personal information is retained while your account is active. Upon deletion, your account is immediately deactivated.

Business records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by Australian law — used only for compliance and auditing.

This App is for adults (18+) with a valid driver's licence. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

By using the App, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Keep login credentials secure — do not share with others
• Not upload illegal, abusive, or rights-infringing content
• Not attempt unauthorised access to the App or other users' data
• Notify us immediately at admin@enroute-tech.com if your account is compromised

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Enroute Tech Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the App.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or applicable legislation.

This policy is governed by Australian law. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at admin@enroute-tech.com.

If unresolved within 30 days, either party may refer to arbitration under the Resolution Institute (Australia) rules, or an Australian court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via the App or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
